Too often, we look at life in terms of winning or losing. But that’s not what it’s about. It’s about growing — as a person, as an entrepreneur.

But we have won so much else

WOMED journey – a valuable step

🔹 Proud of my growth

Over the past few weeks, I have challenged myself and grown tremendously. Thanks to the media training, I learned to speak in public — something that once made me insecure. Where I once thought: “Content: check, but form: help!”, yesterday I stood on stage with confidence.

🔹 Outside my comfort zone
Taking part in this programme was a deliberate step outside my comfort zone. That alone is already a victory. And I truly believe: the more often you take that step, the bigger your comfort zone becomes.

🔹 Gave it my all
I got everything out of it: new insights, personal growth and pushing boundaries. No regrets, only gratitude.

🔹 Thank you for the support
The warm reactions — during the programme, last night and today — mean so much to me. Thank you to everyone who has supported me!

🔹 Special thanks
A special thank you to my husband Peter Depraetere, our children Robin, Chloe and Thibaut, and the many friends who were present. Your friendship is priceless.

🔹 To my supporters
I have always said: you never know what the jury criteria are. We were three strong women, each with a unique story. And I am proud to have stood among them.

🔹 Thanks to Vrouwennet vzw
Thank you for this wonderful journey. I will continue to commit myself to female entrepreneurship — and entrepreneurship in general. And I thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
