Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the quotation, the following are ALWAYS included in the price:

  1. The material: Material can also be supplied by the customer (common, e.g., with welding in sinks), but keep in mind for other items that supplying plates or tubes involves extra administration and follow-up, and for these reasons, it is probably not cheaper. It is also too difficult for us to keep scrap separately, so we scrap the remnants in our containers; a few nice remnants larger than 500x500 mm are returned. For special materials (hastelloy, inconel, etc.), scrap will be returned by arrangement.
  2. Preparation of a drawing for approval if applicable, with a maximum of 2 revision changes. The customer receives clearly dimensioned .pdf drawings. Our working drawings in .dxf or .step are generally not released. Exceptionally, for multiple revisions or even concept changes during the drawing process, an additional charge may be applied.
  3. If operations are explicitly specified, only those operations will be provided. For example, a bent sheet with tapped holes and chamfered holes, and only the operations 'laser cutting, bending' are specified, tapping and chamfering are not included in the price.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the quotation, the following are NEVER included in the price:

  1. Measuring and installation/assembly. It can be provided, but the costs will be charged extra.
  2. Preparation of a welding dossier/welding book. If required, please specify with the correct specifications; additional administrative costs are associated, and we will adjust the price accordingly.
  3. Construction dossier with calculations (strength calculations, nozzle loads, sheet thicknesses, …)
  4. Inspections of any kind
  5. Leak test, pressure test
  6. Fasteners, gaskets
  7. Prototypes, samples
  8. Post-treatment such as painting, galvanizing, electropolishing, anodizing. If these are provided in the quotation, they will always be mentioned.
  9. EN1090 dossier
  10. Certificate costs are charged at 12.5 euros/certificate, both for material, welding filler material, welder certificate, roughness value certificate, … Specific certificates related to post-treatment will be charged at cost. Moreover, they must be requested at the time of order at the latest.
  11. Material certificate 2.2, 3.1 (or exceptionally 3.2, but this is very expensive, mainly for stainless steel)
  12. Certificate for filler material for welding
  13. Welder certificate = WPQ
  14. Roughness value certificate
  15. Coating thickness
  16. Electropolishing
  17. Descaling
  18. Measurement report: price to be agreed separately after you have specified which dimensions need to be measured These items can all be provided, but the extra costs we incur will be charged.

Used abbreviations:

  1. Ra = roughness value: check here.
  2. Nobo = notified body = inspection body such as Vinçotte, Lloyds
  3. NDO = NDT = non-destructive testing – specific testing to be performed on weld seams such as PT (Penetrant test), RX (X-ray), MT (Magnetic test), etc.
  4. Rf – Ff = raised face and flat face, refers to whether or not the gasket surface is roughened on flanges. Especially with spacer and spectacle flanges, we sometimes apply this.
  5. Rvs = stainless or rust-resistant steel
  6. Materials such as s235jr: check here.
