LAF ceilings
Laminar Air Flow (LAF) ceilings are a type of ceiling installed in cleanrooms. The ceiling needs to be flush and must meet the highest quality requirements. Since every ceiling is different, as a rule, it is custom made according to the customer’s wishes. Alinco has developed a number of ceiling types that we manufacture in the workshop and install on site
CG diffusers
We can also provide frames fitted with CG diffusers. These mesh fabric diffusers complete laminar air flow ceilings. They consist of an aluminium or stainless steel frame with a single- or often double-sided very special membrane stretched over it. These frames ensure a very even air flow. The frames must be roughened very well before stretching the fabric to obtain a good adhesion.
While many manufacturers still make these in aluminium because they are easier to roughen, Alinco has developed its own technique to roughen stainless steel frames at a competitive cost.
Several options:
- Stainless steel or aluminium. We prefer stainless steel; aluminium is more porous and therefore a less suitable material for the pharmaceutical industry
- Frame height, additional reinforcements can be freely chosen
- Single-sided or double-sided stretched fabric
- Adapted to the situation: provided with mounting holes, lock housings or otherEach frame gets a unique ID which the customer should select in a logical way
Cleanroom finishes
Alinco also takes care of the cleanroom finishing work, including measurement and installation. This work often involves sealing all openings with stainless steel panels. This includes:
- skirting boards under machines
- panels, access hatch covers
- cable ducts and finishing profiles
- sealing of areas above machines with stainless steel plating
- and of course, also the typical furniture, probes, etc.
