Heavy rolling work can be done through our privileged partner Deprest - 3-roll roller, maximum length 3000 mm, roll diameter 450 mm, sheets up to 40 mm.
If rolling is not possible, bending techniques can be used. Often, these are so precise that the distinction between rolling and bending can only be perceived by an expert eye.
Alinco can offer a very wide range of rolling work with these rollers.
What can be rolled and what cannot?
- Along the entire length, the guideline states that the minimum diameter for centering is equal to the top roll + 1/3. Therefore, on the top roll, you can center a plate with a length of 3000 mm on a diameter of approximately 335 mm.
- For a shorter length, you can often use a roller suitable for thinner materials. For example, on the roller with a length of 2000 mm and a thickness of 8 mm, you can center pieces of 10 or 12 mm over a length of 300 mm.
