Wheels
For applications in the pharmaceutical industry, it is crucial to specify if autoclavable wheels are required. For other uses, it is important to detail the desired load capacity, application, and floor surface. This wheel configurator provides all the necessary information to make the right choice.
For carts and mobile racks in stainless steel 316, we typically use wheels made from stainless steel 304. While stainless steel 316 wheels are available, they are more expensive and often have longer lead times. Since wheels are usually easy to replace and do not have direct product contact, it is generally more cost-effective to use stainless steel 304 wheels and replace them if necessary.
