People make the difference

Working with people is both one of the greatest challenges and one of the most rewarding aspects of running a business.

At Alinco, we realise every day just how important the people around us are. A strong team, mutual respect and a positive atmosphere do not simply happen by themselves. That is exactly why the small, genuine moments often make such a difference.

Abdallah is a perfect example. Always cheerful and smiling, he enthusiastically greets me every morning with: “Good morning, Karina!”

Except my name is Karine. A small detail that by now mostly brings a smile to our faces.

At Alinco, Abdallah has now renamed Friday as his very own “Joma Day”. Joma is his surname and refers to the Arabic word for Friday. A small tradition that has become very much part of who he is.

Meanwhile, Abdallah is working hard on improving his Dutch, and year after year we see him making progress. His commitment and development are something we are genuinely proud of.

Abdallah, we are happy to have you as part of our team.

Because in the end, it is the people who make the difference.
