Measuring instruments:

  1. The classic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, ...)
  2. Roughness meter or Ra meter
  3. PMI tester to measure the chemical composition. Despite stamping on the plate, a PMI test is systematically carried out during incoming material inspection to test for stainless steel 316 or higher alloyed metals.
  4. Gloss meter to measure the gloss level of incoming ground or brushed plates.
