Steel finish

For bare steel sheets, there are actually only 2 variants:

Cold-rolled sheet (kgw)

This gives a more uniform, lighter grey color, available and commonly stocked up to 3 mm thick in st37 = s235. Without specifications, you get a cold-rolled sheet up to 3 mm thick.

Hot-rolled sheet (wgw)

This gives a darker color and is more 'flamed'. Available from 3 mm thickness, standard from 4 mm. Although the sheet is not intended for aesthetic use, it is sometimes used for aesthetic purposes. If this is important, please mention it in advance. Sheets often arrive slightly damaged, but we can choose the best available sheets and possibly tape them off with foil (at an extra cost unless described in the quotation).
